DreamDex is scientifically enhanced softwood lumber to give the upside of a fine hardwood while blunting the negatives. The process is started by using clear, certified, Radiata Pine. The lumber is then infused with a biodegradable polymer known as "BioCore" technology. After 100% penetration, the lumber is dried at high temperature. This sets the “Biocore” polymer in an inert state. The lumber is surfaced and ready to be used to make a superior deck and enter into the life we call DreamDex Living!

Because of the problems with splits , do to water loss in natural lumber, as well as the problems of deterioration in some composites , a new solution was needed. After many years of testing, DreamDex emerged with all the ideal properties of both lumber and composites, with few of the negatives.
